FAQs

What does a typical day look like?

Good question! This page should help. It gives an outline for a typical day, but sometimes things can change due to bad weather or locations being closed to the public. In which case, Victoria will swap in other lovely places for you to explore.

What if we want to make a booking for just one or two people?

That's fine. Groups can range from just one person to maximum group of five. Sometimes other visitors may join us on our day trip, but numbers will never extend 5.

Contact Victoria if you would prefer to keep your group to a minimal number. There is an extra charge for this.

What happens if it's raining?

Ah Good Ole England. It can be sunny in the morning and pouring rain in the afternoon! Come rain or shine, we'll be out, whatever the weather. Bring appropriate clothing and footwear and it can always stay in the van until you need it.

What footwear should I bring?

In spite of Victoria's passion for high heels, she recommends you wear sensible flat walking shoes for the tours. The meadow is a bit lumpy bumpy under foot, due to all the naughty rabbits who love digging there, so if you are a little unsteady on your feet, bring a walking stick too.

I've got some particular places in England that I'd like to see. Can you take us to those please?

Absolutely,  yes! If you have  somewhere special you want to visit, contact us directly using this form and we will be delighted to create a bespoke day out for you. Price may vary depending upon where you want to go, to cover any greater distances or site entry costs to properties.

Please give us lots of advance notice if you wish to do this.
